Non-stop bites all day long! Marshal and their crew of five joined us for an early morning spring adventure on Lake of the Ozarks. We started our 4-hour Guided Paddlefish Adventure with Captain Steven right at 7:00 am, dealing with some morning rain that cleared to partly cloudy skies throughout the day. The water conditions around Township of Moreau were perfect for what we had planned with All-Out Fishing Charters!!!

Once the stage was set, we focused our efforts on snagging and drift fishing techniques using heavy tackle fishing methods. Lake of the Ozarks is absolutely perfect for this type of fishing because the current and structure create ideal conditions for our approach. The combination of snagging with heavy tackle and controlled drifts worked great in these waters, and the Township of Moreau area gave us exactly what we needed for a productive day. We didn't stick a trophy on this run, but every cast and minute on the water was worth it, and we wrapped up with great time and smiles all around!!!

Carp fishing is a great way to get out on the water, because they're typically easy to catch and they don't require much equipment. Today we went out fishing Lake of the Ozarks and found carp everywhere!

We started off by trolling our baits through the channel, where we got some hits but no hookups. Then we moved over to one of the islands and found carp everywhere!

No monsters in the boat yesterday but my nephew got several fishing firsts.  First jet boat trip first smallmouth bass x4, first time using a fly rod for perch, and a 45+ minute fight with a 20+ pound grass carp on 10 lb test.  The hook pulled out before we could land it but it was a crazy uncommon event. Water is low on the gasconade fishing was tough.
